How to get P2 files into FCP
Posted by Jack Fox on July 1, 2012 at 11:01 pmI have downloaded my P2 files (SD quality) on to my iMac desktop and am wondering how to get them in my timeline. FCP does not recognize these files for import.

July 1, 2012 at 11:15 pmFirst thing I would do if I were you is do a Google search for P2 or Tapeless workflow for FCP. If you don’t find your answer, report back and I’ll post a link that has step by step instructions.
Hint: click one of the links above to also find your answer.

July 2, 2012 at 12:31 amI really hope you have maintained the file structure of the P2 card. It’s not just a matter of copying the MXF files to the desktop
