  • How to get Apple’s web quality (or close to it)? – Compressor

Something that bothers me is that I can’t seem to duplicate in compressor the quality I get from just using Quicktime’s SAVE FOR WEB feature.

It always looks great when converting my HD projects for web. I’ve tried to match the settings with compressor which isn’t very complicated, but it never comes out as good.

I’d love for my stuff to look as good as the trailers on the Apple site, but realize they’re likely using some hardware encoder(s)

    Thanks for any advice.

They use compressor in most cases.

They know EXACTLY what they are doing.

Hardware encoders are no better than software.
