I have simple question, I have two circles, 1 large and 1 small, I need the large circle to follow a path around the smaller circle, there is most likely a very simlpe answer, but I’ve been scratching my head all day on this one.

    Both circles are photoshop layers

    Thanks in advance

You need to draw a path, just like you’d be drawing a mask. When finished go to mask options of the layer (press M twice), select Mask Shape, copy it, and paste it as a Position keyframes on the target layer.

you may have to create first keyframe by hand on the target layer, and then select Position and paste.

    i hope that helps.
    cheers

Create a Null at the same position of the large Circle.
You should parent it to the large circle if that moves around.

Put your small circle at the distance where it needs to be for it’s orbit.
    Parent it to the null.

now rotate the null: the small circle will orbit around the large one.

If you don’t want the small circle to rotate while orbiting (for example it’s a smiley face and should not be upside down after 180
