How to find a particular voice talent

My one gift in life is recognizing voiceover artists, but I don’t know that guy.

If no one here recognizes him, best bet is to hit the ol’ Googling machine, track down the client, find someone there willing to tell you who their ad agency is, and ask them.

I did exactly that once when I really liked the voice on a national Marie Callender’s spot, but he was someone I had no clue who was. Marie Callender’s corporate PR was happy to tell me their agency, and the agency not only gave me the artist’s name, but the phone number for his LA agent.

Might not always be that easy, but in this case it was.
