Hello! First of all, I am new to this forum and also not a C4D pro.

I have a following problem: I am trying to create a cylinder that has one of its bases wavy. In order to do that, firstly I created the sinusoidal path in Illustrator -> I merged it into C4D -> I extruded it -> I put it under a Boole, so that it became circular.
For now it resembles a wavy potato chip (see a linked image). What I need to do is to extrude it in such a way, that it becomes a thick wavy slice of a potato ???? Ideally, one of the sides should be flat instead of wavy.

I can imagine the alternative way to do it would be to cut a cylinder with the wavy surface I have now. However, I have only found an option to make a straight cut.

I will be super happy to hear any advices! I believe there must be some very simple way to achieve it… I tried to find ways on some tutorials for hours today and didn’t succeed!
