How to export/extract 1 stream from a multiplexed file?
Hi everyone,
I am stuck on this one: I have a file which ends on .mp4 extension, but no video player/editing program will recognize it. Except for VLC, that is. Now here’s the catch: the file contains of 2 videostreams and 4 audio streams. I need 1 audio stream, but don’t mind that, I’ve managed to extract that via other ways.
What I am stuck with is: how can I chose which stream I would like to export?
In the attached image, you will see the information VLC is telling me:
Stream0 = 320×256 – which is the default it will export, but I don’t need that one
Stream 1 = 720×576 – which is the one I needJust how?
Oh yeah, to make it all fun for experimenting, this file contains 7,5 hours of video….Thx for any help!
