How to export uncompressed?
Posted by Andy Garrett on December 30, 2005 at 11:12 pmI’m wondering how I can export my Premiere Pro edited 16×9 DV footage uncompressed for use in Vegas.

January 1, 2006 at 6:30 amThe problem is I need to edit this footage in Vegas and then send it back to Premiere. I’ve tried to save it as a Microsoft AVI uncompressed but it loses the 16×9 flag. Is there a way to save it uncompressed in the 16×9 format?

Microsoft AVI is not the answer.
Export as a DV-AVI with the proper Pixel Aspect Ratio for 16:9 and you should be able to send it back and forth to the two different programs. DV-AVI is how it comes off the camera in the first place, so that is why both apps can handle it.
