  How to export Metadata embed Media Encoder – AFD CODE ?!

  Hello Everyone,

  here’s my problem,

  I’ve this tv show, edit and export from AVID and recompress with Media Encoder

  The tv channel that broadcast it, broadcast with weird specs that I can’t get :

  The SPECS ask :

  MXF File
  1920*1080 / 50i – 25fps
  XDCAM 50 PAL
  2 Audio Channel – 48khz – 16bits
  AFD (Active Format Desciption) Code : 8 (or 1000)

  The problem :
  If I’m exporting from AVID, i can get the AFD Code, but can’t have only 2 audio Channel (get 8 channel)

  If i recompress with media encoder, i can get 2 audio channel XDCAM 50 PAL, etc… BUT my AFD Code is generate into a sidecar file I can’t get it embed.

  I will be really grateful if anyone know how to embed the AFD code with these settings, or if i’ve to buy another software to do it.
