  • How to export events from one project to another

I just synced sound of some interviews (with PluralEyes) and now I want to select just parts of it and import it to another project where the rest of my footage is. How do I do it?

Open the other project and do a copy/paste of the desired events from the PluralEyes one to the other one.

So I have to copy selected events, than open the second project and paste it?

I’d open the second project and then do the copy/paste.

You mean its possible to have two projects opened at the same time?

You can have as many copies open as you want.
You could have your two working ones and a third one could be rendering.
The power of your computer is your only limitation.

Thanks. BTW, how do I switch between the two opened projects?

Both projects will be in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen so just click on the desired one to maximize it.

Here’s what I do when I have two projects open. Cntrl+C to copy, Alt+Tab to toggle to second project, Cntrl+V to paste. Very fast once the muscle memory kicks in.

Thats weird. When I open another project, the first one seems to be closed (I dont see it anywhere).

Open the first project and then start a new instance of Vegas either with your desktop icon or by using Start/Run to get a second one going at the same time.
