How to export events from one project to another
Posted by Michal Bronec on October 20, 2011 at 5:41 pmI just synced sound of some interviews (with PluralEyes) and now I want to select just parts of it and import it to another project where the rest of my footage is. How do I do it?

October 20, 2011 at 5:52 pmOpen the other project and do a copy/paste of the desired events from the PluralEyes one to the other one.

October 20, 2011 at 6:08 pmYou can have as many copies open as you want.
You could have your two working ones and a third one could be rendering.
The power of your computer is your only limitation. -

October 20, 2011 at 6:19 pmBoth projects will be in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen so just click on the desired one to maximize it.

October 20, 2011 at 6:30 pmHere’s what I do when I have two projects open. Cntrl+C to copy, Alt+Tab to toggle to second project, Cntrl+V to paste. Very fast once the muscle memory kicks in.

October 20, 2011 at 6:47 pmOpen the first project and then start a new instance of Vegas either with your desktop icon or by using Start/Run to get a second one going at the same time.
