    Easiest way is to download and installPreference Manager from Digital Rebellion. It will save your prefs (and all those of the other software in the fcs suite if you wish) in one tidy file.

    Having said that it is always good to know where they reside and for that I leave you to spend 5 minutes with your manual…

    That’s a MIGHTY broad question. Like asking “Tell me how to do everything in FCP.” Well, there is more than one resource for this…starting with THE MANUAL. It tells you all the ins and outs of the application. There there are tutorials online, at lynda.com for example.

    There are DOZENS of formats that work with FCP. Asking someone to type up how to do all of that HERE…when the manual exists…is a bit much.
