In other words, I need this object to pass through another object with a rigid body tag. Everything I try, they still collide.

you want it to act dynamic itself but not interact with one other dynamic object?

I am animating a tire puncture. It is the tip of a rock that I want to just sit there while it is touching a collider object (the rest of the rock that does not puncture), then a rigid body object (a truck wheel) comes by and that will pass THROUGH the tip of a rock. For some reason the tire is treating the tip of the rock like a collider body and rolling over it instead of passing through as if it is puncturing. Im doing it this way because there is less to calculate than using a collider deformer.

Sorry, so the answer is no. Seems like there should be an easy fix

if the sharp part of the stone did not have a dynamic tag at all (or a Dynamic tag set to Ghost) it would pass right through the tire.
