How to edit SD and HD materials in one timeline?
Hey, guys.
Now i have both dvcpro50 and dvcprohd as my raw materials. The dvcpro50 is captured as anamorphic(16×9).
But when i first import some hd files and then import sd files, the sd files will be squished to 4×3 with crop off on both right and left side. But if i mark the anamorphic in the sequence setting, the hd files will become, i don’t know, perhaps 2×1.
Could any of you tell me what can i do in this situation?

Conform your footage to whatever you are outputting. Are you outputting SD or HD?

I want to output HD, since 80% of my materials are dvcprohd…

Then you will need to scale up your SD footage to HD (Use Compressor or any high quality Scaling plug-in) and work in a DVCPro HD sequence.
