How to edit more than one Keyframe at once
I really hope someone can help me as I did not find anything about that anywhere. I am using the german version of vegas but I am asking here on the english forum, in the hope of getting faster and more answers leading to an solution. Everwhere where there is a “(?)” behind a word, I just translated how it is called in german, to what it should be called in english.
Problem: A finished “composition” schlould be changed. Lets say it is a word, moving and changing its properties (opacity in the properties(?) tab and shadows in effects(?) tab) about 15 times (set with 15 keyframes) within 10 seconds. Not only that, each and every letter of the word does its own thing – so not only just one simple track but each letter hast its own track.
Now, I would like to change – lets say – the colour of a letter, I need to do that for every keyframe I have set. That would be not that much work, if it was only one word and only few keyframes. But there is – as mentioned – more then one letter, more than one keyframe and since I am playing around with it to find the settings I like most, it is awful lot of work for every time I like to change the colour (or something similar).So I thought there surely is a way to select all the keyframes at once (of one letter/track) and check to colour, also at once for them all. This would save tons of time. But unfortunately, I do not know how to edit more than one keyframe at once.
I recognized, that by clicking and dragging the “curser” over the keyframe timeline all keyframes seem to be selected – but when doing so and then changing the color of the letter, only the color of the first set keyframe is changed. So that does not work.So I really hope for your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is no way in Vegas to do what you want to do.
Each and every keyframe must be modified separately. -
Are you serious? I mean… sure there is no way to do what I’d like to do?
Ok, I am new with vegas and movie editing and all that but I am used to work with CAD software and like to play around with gimp. So I just cannot imagine that this is not possible.
I mean: Sony Vegas is suppost to be a kind of “creativity software”, right? And not having the possibility of edit some basic stuff (like colour) for all keyframes of a track at once is just a humongous circumcision of creativity, isn’t it? I may be wrong, but who has a step by step plan in his head for a small project without any variables? There are always things that show up during a process that one might want to change and “play” with until the creator is satisfied with it.So, there really is no way for to do what I want to do without doing it keyframe by keyframe? If so, this is just crap (sorry, but I really feel this way) and that most probably will make me try out another software – any suggestions on which software might fulfill my needs?
