How to edit in video without audio
Quick question I haven’t been able to find elsewhere or in my preferences panel:
Is there a way to drag and drop clips into an FCP7 timeline without bringing along the 4 audio tracks that are attached to it?
I’m editing a video to a set piece of audio and it’s annoying having to go back and delete audio tracks each time I insert a new clip.
If there is a way to do it, I’d be grateful to know. Thanks a lot.

you need to detach the source from the audio tracks on to the left of the timeline, refer to the picture on this site since I know I’m not making any sense.
