  • How to edit from one edited timeline in source to new timeline and see all video tracks

    Hi Everyone,
That may be confusing so I’ll explain. I have a school play where I matched up two cameras with different timecodes (person shot with camcorder only certain sections of play) , I’m trying to take that timeline, put it in the source monitor and edit the play down in a new timeline. Trouble is, I’m not getting both video layers (V1, V2) in the new timeline when I click on overlay, I get both tracks on V1. How can I separate the tracks into the new timeline? Am I missing something simple?

    Hope that explains my issue.
    Thanks!
