How to draw a shape?
Posted by Dovydas Vilkelis on March 12, 2010 at 1:32 pmHi,
I have a transparent image with logo, and would like it draw form start point to end point. What’s the best way to do it?

March 12, 2010 at 3:01 pmDraw a shape over top of it with outline and no fill, use a write-on behavior to animate it, and apply it as an image mask to your logo.

March 12, 2010 at 4:29 pmI don’t know, if I understood right. I have to draw a simple rectangle with no fill, but with outline, use write on behavior, add image mask for my logo and then drag and drop my rectangle to mask source?

March 12, 2010 at 4:39 pmYou want it to look like a figure 8 (your logo) is being hand drawn on the screen. In stead of a rectangle use the Bezier or B-spline or paint tool to trace your orange figure 8. Then do the following. Make sure the color of the Bezier line is white. That will make the white a luma stencil so when all is said and done the white is not seen. For a quick example you may want to check out my Creating a Hologram tutorial. In the middle it will explain image masks. Best of luck and hope this helps.
