  • How to download footage off Canon HFS-10 without Mac software?

Hi, recently I brought a Canon HFS-10 and shot some test footage. I am trying to download the footage to my computer (Mac 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM). When I plug the USB port in to my computer and camcorder it doesn’t read the clip. All I see are files ending with CPI ext. How do I get the footage off the Canon HFS-10 without using the provided Pixela (Windows) software? Do I have to buy the (Mac) version? – I really don’t want to and hoping there’s another way to do this. In my computer, I use FCP and iMovieHD. I hope the software I run on my computer will do the capture job. Please advise. Much Thanks!!
