how to do this kind of motion blur
In Fight Club and Requiem for a Dream there is a part in both movies where the camera shakes left to right or up and down but with a weird motion blur. If anyone knows what i’m talking about, can someone help me figure out how was that motion blur done.

Have you tried modulating the image laeft to right a handful of pixels exetremely quickly with motion blur on?
For a more organic effect, use the wiggler to do it. If not, a sin expression may do nicely.

I like how the wiggler looks but how can i just make it wiggler just left and right.
How can i do the modulating thing and the sin expression?
