How to disable auto-save after render
I’ve seen some threads say there’s a setting in Media Creation settings, but I’m not seeing it. Is there any way to disable Avid from auto-saving after each render? My auto-save intervals are sufficient.
While we’re on it, is there a way to skip the drive confirmation dialogue after you hit render?
I’m running MC 5.0.3 on Windows 7.

I think you have to update to MC5.5, and it’s in the Media Creation–>Render Tab. As for skipping the drive confirmation – I don’t believe that’s possible.

That’s too bad. I’m on a network’s Avid. They JUST upgraded to v. 5, so 5.5 might be a few years off.

i have 5.0.3 and it’s on there. i’m not at work right now, but i remember turning that option on just a few days ago. i’m pretty sure it’s in Media Creation. F1?

on 5.0.3 and I don’t see it. Would love to turn that off as well.
