    dumb question 😉
    when i insert a song or video file in the Timeline so both track are inersted i mean audio and video but when i ever move the video file in timeline the audio file also move with it i infact i dunno anything about it and how to unlock them so plz anyone help me and tell me how to group them and how to ungroup them ?

    Select the events and hit Ctrl U to ungroup, or Ctrl G to Group.

    OR

    There is a button at the top to Ignore Event Grouping )Ctrl/Shift U)

    Also you can right click on the clip in question, scroll down to ‘GROUP’ and you’ve got some more choices.

    Group and Ungroup are simply G and U without the CTRL.

    Whoops – thanks Ed, I was getting confused with my CD authoring program (Mediator) where it’s Ctrl/G for group.
