  • How to delete User Saved Materials from the Materials Preset area in the Materials Mgr in R11?

I’m cleaning up my user saved materials from the preset area in order to copy the .lib4d file over into R12 but would like to eliminate some rarely used materials. I haven’t been able to find a way to delete any of the saved presets. Can you do this inside Cinema? So far I have only found the .lib4d file by itself but not the individual materials within by searching in Documents and Settings (Application Data).

I don’t think it’s possible to edit the preset libraries.

So when you go into Load Material Preset>User>Materials, that list can only be added to, not reduced in size? My User Materials list is getting fairly unwieldy now and difficult to scroll around in, so I was hoping to thin it out a bit before copying over into R12 .lib4d but as I understand it, once you save, it’s written in stone.
