    Hi all,

In Avid, all of the media associated with a project can be deleted with an internal media manager. Is there a tool in FCP which can do that as well? I tried Media Manager, but that only seems to consolidate the media and copy it to someplace else. How do I totally and utterly clear out an entire project after finishing it so no residu is left behind?

    Go to your Media Drive.

In the Capture Scratch Folder, Render Files Folder and Audio Renders Folder, throw away the Project folders associated with the project you’re working on.

Is there an automated way that for instance automatically also deletes images from the documents folder that’a used in the project?

In the browser window you can select all, right click and choose “Make Offline”, then chose “Delete from Disk” (not at a FCP workstation right now, the exact wording may vary), click “OK” at the frightening warning that tells you what you are about to do is ill advised.
