how to delay the buttons ?
i have a video as my menu.
I want the video to play out and at the end i want the buttons to start fading in…Basically I want the user to watch the video! and at the end the user will be given the option to press play…

You can’t fade anything in Encore- you’d have to do that in After Effects or Premiere, and make the video clip your menu background.
Once you bring this into Encore and make it your menu video background, use the Loop Point parameter to indicate what timecode to turn the button highlighting on.
