I’ve seen this effect a lot, and I wanted to know if it was easy to make in Sony Vegas. The camera movement looks so smooth that it makes me think that it was done in another program. If so, which program is it? No one on Youtube ever tells people what they use xD

The effect is at 21 seconds.

you can try with tracks set to 3d and compositing child but it is not so easy in vegas. it is probably done in AE. unfortunatelly it is very hard to move camera in vegas

This could be done in Vegas Pro. The hard part would be masking the saxophone player. Other tools like After Effects have the ability to dynamically create the mask for you (with the Roto Brush tool) but in Vegas Pro you would have to go frame by frame and cut out the person you want to mask. The process is called Rotoscoping. Once you have them masked, the rest of just duplicating them on multiple tracks and offsetting their position and applying FX to the tracks. It’s a lot of work but it’s achievable.
