How to create this “drawing on screen effect”?
I have been searching for a while, but I have not seen a way to easily create this effect of drawing on the screen:

about 37 seconds inI know that I could manually take the pen tool to trace out the path given, but I wanted it to be more automated, by using the motion tracking points. Any ideas?

I don’t think that you’d save yourself any time by not just drawing this manually.
That said, you can copy and paste motion path data into a path shape if you really want to do it the other way:
