How to create scan lines in Avid?
I am working on a project in Avid Media Composer and I am trying to create scan lines to give a clip a security camera feel. I know that Sapphire has plugins that can be used to create this look, but unfortunately I do not have Sapphire. Is there a way to create scan lines using Avid “stock” effects?

you can always just draw em in photoshop or title tool.

try Boris Continuum FX plug in ( free bundled with Mediacomposer) look in your effects pallete, can’t recall the name but it’s there.
