GEMs has an AE Gold Texture freebie, here:

    2. broadcastGEMs_Lower3rd TexTures (Gold & Plastic)(AEP ver 5.5+) (8kb)

    https://www.broadcastgems.com/download/

OK, I checked these our and it’d good. All you need to do is open the comp “Golden Lower 3rd” then E reveals the effects, select them all, then Animation>Save Animation Preset. You will then have a gold preset to drop on any text.

Note: The Bevel Alpha doesn’t like some text, like Impact, M’s and K’s so you might need a text without those sharp intersection, you’ll see what I mean.

    Enjoy.

Yikes! I forgot to add, don’t select the mask when you make your preset as then it will be in the preset, effects only will do it.
