HOW TO – create animated bevel hilights

They look great when moving but once stationary, they look dead. ANy ideas?

Hi Roland,

To create an animated reflection on the Bevel, load a Layer Map as the Reflectivity Map. For the Layer Map, you can just use one of the presets such as Punchy Reflections, and apply that as a Pre-Comp. In the Pre-Comp, animate the Punchy Reflections map by moving it left to right, and you will have an animated bevel highlight.
