    Hello,

I want to make if it’s possible to make an army with only one actor.

If you’ve ever seen the movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” (With Johnny Depp), you know what I mean.

I thought about masking, but that’s a tedious process. Is there an easier/faster way? I can use Sony Vegas Pro 10 (preferred) or After Effects CS 5.5 (Trial).

    Thanks a bunch!

You’ll need a GreenScreen background, you can buy one here. https://www.go2productions.com/greenscreencompositing.php?gclid=CJeW2snGy6sCFQx3gwodU0KO0Q Simply shoot your Actor in different positions and depths on the screen and use the Vegas GreenScreen video effect to overlay all the footage.

Thanks! But, I don’t have a big enough green screen, and they can be expensive :-/.

Is masking my best bet then?

    Thanks for the fast reply!

The screen only needs to be slightly larger than the actor – unless you have him running down a hill.

Sorry…I guess I wasn’t too specific. The scene is where all of the actor “clones” are actually moving around the set. Maybe I misunderstood you?
