  • How To Create 3D Space?

I have searched for this, but no avail. I can take a solid layer, with fractil (sp?) noise and create space, then a sphere for an earth, looks nice. Now, I want a scene where I pan from left, nothing but stars, to right and then earth comes into from. I have made my earth and star field 3d, added a camera but of course the star field is flat and I see that as I pan. What is the easiest and effective way to make “fully 3d space” so I can pan? Thank you.

Check out Maltaannon’s Skybox tutorial. I don’t know where I found it, but I downloaded it as an MP4 file. I think this is it on YouTube, though:

Although YouTube here at work is blocked, so I can’t verify it’s the same tutorial.

I think I got the tutorial, downloaded it. Ok, I can make space with fractal noise OR an image, that is fine, but I apply cc sphere, it disappears. Or maybe the sphere is tiny, be cause I get like a “sphere” or circle wireframe in the center of my comp. UGH, irritating as I am doing click for click what he does.
