I believe some of the warp effects that come with ae will do the effect, possibly a little bit of an echo…it looks like a bit of blur, ripple confined to behind the bullet…the sapphire pack pf plugines will help if you got them (but don’t think just by going and getting them will make it look right with one click, either using a built in or 3rd party plug will take some time to get right)

I think I can do it with Displacement plug-in but I want an idea to do it

Well, this technique would be easiest by far if your bullet is also located in AE’s 3D space (you could parent the emitter to the bullet), but you could use Trapcode Particular to create a spotlight emitter that emits rings of particles in the bullet’s wake, blur it some and use that for a displacement map.

Hey, I have the same issue here. I created the trail in After Effects with Particular, but I don’t know how to achieve the glassy, distortion effect. Maybe a displacement map? But I saw a youtube tutorial for it here: https://youtu.be/RWvNV-Eewlk. Tutorial starts on 8:50

\”Why, Mr. Anderson? Why, why, why? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you\’re fighting for something? For more than your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. Temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can\’t win. It\’s pointless to keep fighting. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist?\”
