    Hi everyone:)

I need to put together a 3 minutes sequence that uses 8 different clips, all shots in different condition and have different light and sound quality. How can I make it all

Can’t tell you how to do this exactly without seeing the shots, however it’s a matter of using the color correction tools to make them match better, and using the audio filters to improve the audio… I’d suggest that you read the chapters in the manual about these tools?

Thank you Jerry for getting back to me.
Can you tell me the name of the audio filter you suggest I should look into ?

    Thanks,

There isn’t just one, but MANY. Each function differently. Which one you use depends on the audio issue that is occurring.

Unfortunately we can’t train you as to which one to use, or how to adjust it here. We can’t hear the audio. This is something you will have to figure out.

    Grace,

Of the two problems you have the ausio is the more difficult to resolve. This is because audio tweaking is inherently an art into itself, combined with the fact that FCPs audio tools are difficult to use and not very good.

To remove noise or static is possible with Bias’ Soundsoap, or, if there’s a section of just the noise, you can sample that in Soundtrack Pro and get rid of it, there’s a demo of how to do that on the Soundtrack intro page on Apple’s site.

For the video the 3-Way color corrector is your best bet.

    Have a wonderful day.
