    Hi!

I have a question I hope someone is able to help me out on.
I want to use after effect 6.5 to create a kind of warped transparant air. Like when a magician uses his magic wand and the air kind of moves or changes shape.

I have tried using waveworld, but it is not transparent enough, there seems to always be a tint in it…

    Gladly accept any ideas

    Thanks

Click on Aharon’s head above the main page, then scroll down to:

    Displacement Mapping Part 1: Basics

There is a part 2 and 3. Displacment Map will warp your air and make it magical.

    Hi,

Follow yekesmikes tip for the pure ae method. A beautiful plug-in’s alternative would be IL Mirage from Image lounge (www.redgiantsoftware.com)

    Salut.
