How to convert a timeline that is 50 fps to 25 fps?
Hi!
I accidentally set my project to 50 fps instead of 25.
Now I want to change my timeline to 25 fps but I cant change the framerate of the project.
I tried to delete all the files in the project and change the framerate of the project but it doesn’t work. I also made a new timeline that is 25 fps. It did not work to copy all the clips into that timeline (from the other timeline) but it was working to nest the whole old sequence in it. How ever when i try to export it i get the message “Failed to encode the audio samples”.
Did anyone have this problem? I worked for months on this project so I don’t not feel so tempted to start over again in a new project.

The current version of Resolve do allow you to adjust your timeline settings after creation.
Click on the timeline options, and select a custom setting. See if that works with your footage.

I had this recently and solved it. Trying to remember the process but I think I created a new Project, set to 25 and then using dynamic project switching I opened the original, copied the timeline and pasted it into the new project. Then I copied the clips in the 50fps timeline and copied into a 25 project.
