  How to convert a 4:2:2 chroma sub-sampling video to a 4:2:0 video?

  Hi all,

  My film master is at 25 fps, 4:2:2 chroma sub-sampling ratio, 1080i, Apple Pro-res 422 Proxy with stereo audio. I am currently faced with a requirement from a TV network, which has stated the following specs for delivery –

  25 fps, 4:2:0 chroma sub-sampling ratio, 1080i, H.264 mov file with stereo audio.

  My question is as follows – How to change the chroma sub-sampling ratio? Is there an option on Final Cut Pro 7 for the same? Or do I use a third party software like MPEG STREAMCLIP or any such software? Any leads would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
