  • How to convert 16:9 to 4:3 output?

Posted by Ned Miller on October 3, 2009 at 12:18 am

I shot many short product videos in 16:9 but the final result must end up on the clients website as 4:3, for some reason it has to be exactly 450×338. Can someone please tell me how I can cut off the sides? I also need to add titles on front and back of each of these 35 twenty second videos so I don’t want any distortion.

Is there a matte or crop function that would work? And then what export settings should I use?

    Thanks!

So make a 450×338 Square Pixels (not Anamorphic) sequence and drop your videos inside.
    crop, resize, reposition and export.
