How to consolidate ?
Hi,
I am using Avid for several years and now i am trying FCPX….I need to consolidate a project , and when i am doing that in Avid, i can use only the parts of clips i used in my timeline.
But FCPX , copy the whole clips , not only the parts i used in my timeline…Is there any other way to do that ?

I’ve been researching this very issue for months on both Apple’s boards and the cow and it blows my mind there’s no real media management. Nobody I’ve talked to so far has a solution.
I don’t know how people are backing projects up unless they take all of the storage for a project.
