Now maybe there are way too many codecs in there, but the client gave us a spec sheet and this is what they want…

    File Extension: *.avi
    Format: Dixv
    Video Codec: mpeg-4
    Resolution: 640×360
    Apsect Ratio: 16:9
    Video Bitrate: 2200kbits/s
    Frames/sec: 23.98
    Audio Codec: mp3
    Audio Bitrate: 128 kbit/s
    Sampling Frequence: 44.1kHz

I’ve been trying to figure out how exactly to go about exporting an avi this way. Original file is an uncompressed quicktime, and we bought flip-for-mac, but I’m not sure if that’s the best route.

Anyone know of a program to use that will get the best results?
Forget Cleaner, we have Apple compressor, and QT Pro with Flip for mac.
Possibly have to buy Divx from https://www.dixv.com???

Thanks in advance for the help!

There are two version of the DivX CODEC as far as I can remember, one is free and gives you limited control as to how things are compressed, the paid for version unlocks advanced (higher quality) features. Both work within Quicktime
