how to composite 360 video ? Skybox?
Posted by Peter Brelan on October 8, 2015 at 2:17 pmHi
I found the plug Skybox, but can I make compositing (explosion etc.) with it?
Do you have another solution?
Thank you
Pierre

You can composite anything you need in the comps it creates.
Shoot Chris Bobotis from Mettle a mail through their website and he’ll be more than happy to help.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

Pierre, you need to use the Extractor module that comes with SkyBox Studio. I can show you how via Skype if you like, let me know.
Cheers,

November 11, 2015 at 11:42 amHi Chris, Is there any chance of getting a object tracking tutorial for this. I can understand how to do this if the object stays in just one of the sides of the box layout, but not if the object circles the entire camera, moving through all of the sides of the box, e.g. a bird flies around the camera rig – would you have to track the bird in the Equiretangular view and stabilise the to the bird to keep the bird all in one of the sides of the box layout or is there a much better way?
Thanks!
Mark
