spending my money on that, the only distinct advantage is the CMOS correction
as you mentioned, plus the problematic color correction export issues and also its
slooowwer…. Sorry, not enough to justify me going standalone for
stabilizing my media, Aint gonna happen and aint gonna recommend it either!What i will be highly recommending is the soon to arrive Mercalli 4 plugin

August 16, 2015 at 8:03 amWell, my workflow allows me to view a length of shaky material, completely AWAY from the hot activity within VP13; allow me to make external to VP13, selection decisions in Merc4; batch render those pieces and then import those into VP13. Very efficient and creative for me.
However, if I DO spy some dodgy footage within VP13, out comes the Merc Plug pistol.
Tools for the job in hand. And that is the way I can have efficient, creative workflow.
