How to “chop” a video in half
I need to segment a super wide video format into 8 different segments. It is for an ulra wide video board that cant play something that wide so I need to segment it. Not cuts but actually “chop”. Its hard to explain so here’s a pic example:

If I understand what you’re trying to achieve: After Effects or a custom sequence format in Premiere and a bit of math… Nothing more, nothing less…
Create your custom sequence format, drop the movie in and move it accordingly… -
Yeah that makes sense. I tried that. I guess the more general question now is how to match sequence settings? I have 1 super wide video file that is 4032×192 pixels. I drag that file into my timeline, then click “match sequence settings”. When I go to export the file, I then again click “match sequence settings and this is what i see:
Why does it say the source is 2000 x 192 and the output is 1917 x 184? Shouldnt both of those say 4032×192?
