    How can I change my green screen background in the editing process, to a different color like white,black, or purple. I know how to key out the green screen i just want to know how to change the color after i’m done keying out the green screen and leaving the subject still their.

    1. Find the hue and saturation filter
    2. select the green input
    3. shift it to the desired color.

    U may have to control also some values for the :red / yellow/ cyan in order to achieve better results.

    If you’ve already done the key, you could just put create solid and make it the color you want and put it below your keyed layer.

    in this case the key should be perfect.
    Otherwise semi-transparent areas would reveal all the compression,
    especially over a black background (in most cases)
    So Tyler u r ok with keying i assume. Your question is all about compositing?
    ( placing the background layer below the keyed footage directly in ur editor )
    If this is all about then Michael’s advice is the proper one.
