  • How to change the default audio fade curve

I know, I know, I need to update my version of FCPX….

I am running 10.2.3. I would like to reset the default audio curve from +3 db to the S-curve. How in the world do you do this? Can you even do it? Can you do it in newer versions of FCPX?

Save the transition as a favorite and make it the default audio transition.

I think Lisa wants to alter the default behavior of the audio handles themselves, instead of having to right-click and select the preferred curve.

    Ah yes.

If true, that is something that would make a great feature request.

That’s exactly what I want to do!

    Have you found any solution?
