  • How to change color in “dip to white” transition

    Hi,
I am working with premiere pro cc, and would like to know if there is a way to change the color of dip to white video transition from white to beige. I really like this “dip to…” transition and totally suits my needs, but the white (or black) color is too flashy for my needs. I think changing the color would make the transition much more smoother, but still obvious there is a transition… I hope I make sense 🙂
Some preset transitions have an option to change the color, but not dip to white. Is there any other way (besides a simple color picker) to change the color?
Any advice, (very) similar alternative to dip to white or any other alternative (besides programming:)) would be appreciated.
    Thank you in advance!
    Taya

    Hi Taya,
I had a similar problem and from this what I know, you have to create a matte in desired colour and then put cross dissolve at the beginning and the end.
I know that it is just walking around the problem.
Perhaps with next update Adobe will add function that allow to dip to (any) colour.
