How to change clipping/cropping in BCC Title Studio – Circle Box.bsp
Using BCC Title Studio and the “Circle Box.bsp” preset, I’ve created an intro title for a project I’m working on… pretty much using the preset straight-up (changing text, obviously)
I’m having a tough time figuring out why clipping/masking is occurring on the WHITE text. Could anyone else using Boris try on their machine and maybe shed some light on this for me?
Here are two clips that demonstrate what I’m talking about.
- Sample 1: Notice the white title text is cut off on the top-half as it spins around.

- Sample 2: Notice that you can see the bottom of the white text when it first flies on and starts spinning, but not the rest of it.

Oddly, although it’s still not proper, it displays differently in the BCC UI Window than it does when previewing/rendering in Vegas (14).
Note when it initially is spinning on, that the full middle-lower half of “Mirror Mirror” is displaying and only the top gets clipped.

OK.. I found it.
Crop-Texture–>Crop Cutout.. the top is set low around 60 early on and slowly increases through the event length.
I’d delete this post but maybe it’ll help someone else down the line..
