    Hello Final Cut geniuses!

I’ve searched but can’t find this anywhere — but have wondered about it for years, so hoping for enlightenment.

Some aspects of FCP 7 generated titles can be changed with “paste attributes” – but now, for example, I need to change all my subtitles (and ID’s) from “outline” to non-outline.

    A lot of titles.

    What would you suggest?
(besides going in and manually changing the settings on each title?)

    Any tips much appreciated.

I am sure the procedure for exporting an XML, changing the text attributes globally and then re-importing into FCP has been discussed here on this forum. There may also be third party software to do this.

Try searching for XML and see if that reveals this info. I have never had to do this but I do recall it has been discussed.
