  • How to capture DVD camcorder disc into one file without losing scenes?

I want to be able to edit in one project data from 6 fully recorded dvd camcorder discs.

Capturing the discs with Vegas and importing hundreds of created mpg files to project does not work for me:

TMPGEnc software allows to create *.dvddata format files out of *.vob files. Importing them (dvddata) to Vegas timeline does not increase the memory usage a lot, which is perfect for me.

*.dvddata does not contain scene information

TMPGEnc allows export of *.keyframe file, which contains information on location of every scene. This format is not supported by Vegas.

Is there a way / a software that allows to capture DVD camcorder disc into one or two files, and exports or saves with the file scene information (keyframes, markers etc.) supported by Vegas?

    Help is very much appreciated
