    hello
    i have an HDCAM SONY TAPE I WANNA CApture it using final cut pro 7
    i dont know how to do it
    i have
    apple MACpro 2 / 2.26 GHZ / 6GB RAM / GEFORCE GT 120/SD
    Final cut pro 7
    BLACK MAGIC DECKLINK EXTREME SDI DIGITAL & ANALOG VIDEO CARD
    HDCAM SONY JH-3 PLAYER

    Connect the deck to the capture card via SDI and RS-422 (for Deck Control).

    Choose an EASY SETUP that is ProRes, and matches the frame size and frame rate of the tape. For example, 1080i 29.97 ProRes. If the tape is 1080i59.94 (that runs at 29.97). Open LOG AND CAPTURE. Make sure you have a REEL number that you can track to the tape. And then capture.
