  How to build a new drive for Mountain Lion?

  So thinking I need to update my system to Mountain Lion. My system drive is about 3 years old now so I would like to build a new system drive. Does Mountain Lion have a migration assistant that will let me bring over my Adobe stuff and iTunes library etc? I don’t want to do a carbon copy clone as I would like to have a fresh start. Out with the junk but want all my good stuff to come across. What is best practices?
