  • How to blend two objects (Metaball-similar)

I’m trying to put two objects next to one another and have a metaball effect to connect the two. Metaballs requires a lot of points and works better on spherical objects. I just want to take the end of a long object and have it connect/blend with the end of another long object as I don’t want to model the connection between the two – possible?

    Thanks!

No way to do it automatically, but it’s not really that difficult to model. Just connect the objects (connect command), then select the polys you want to connect on each one and use the bridge tool to connect them.
